Mount Baker Community Potluck

Saturday 12th May 2018 - 6-10pm

PotluckCollage

One of our flagship events, the long-running Community Potluck is a wonderful opportunity to come out and meet your neighbors.

All you have to do is make a platter of something yummy and bring it to the club by 6pm on Saturday 12th May. The Club will provide paper plates, cutlery and napkins. You provide your delectable dish – preferably with a label that states what the dish is and if it suitable for vegetarians, vegans, gluten free etc.

For the 2018 event Mount Baker chefs can also enter their dish into our competition. Our esteemed officials will taste the wares placed on the judges table and select the best examples of 1) appetizer, 2) entrée, 3) dessert and for the younger chefs 4) baked goods ( for those 15 years and under).

To enter your tasty treat you should bring 3 small sample sizes of the dish you are making and place on the judges table. Your mouthwatering morsels should have a label with the name of the dish, your name and what category you are submitting them for and the judges will do the rest.

The winning chefs will receive either free tickets to the MBCC Mariners game or Taste Mount Baker. They will also feature their recipes in a future edition of The View and on the Mount Baker website.

There will be a cash bar and a band to entertain us. Hope to see you there!

We also need a few volunteers to help with set up/clear up and the bar - if interested please contact programs@mountbaker.org
