The SilverSneakers FLEX program brings fitness, fun and friends right to your neighborhood! And, it’s FREE for SilverSneakers members. STRENGTH & BALANCE a low-impact class to help improve flexibility and balance while increasing muscular endurance. Strength exercises include using your own body’s resistance while also using your core muscles to improve balance and stability. The SilverSneakers FLEX program is tailored specifically to the Medicare- eligible population. Seniors 65+ on Medicare may qualify for FREE membership. Yoga: With Allison 

Mondays 6 PM - 7 PM Starting January 14th

Come lay down your mat in a relaxed setting to explore Hatha and Yin styles of yoga led by Allison. We will hold Hatha postures for 2-3 breath cycles giving you space to explore breath, energy, and alignment while building strength in your muscles and stability in your joints. Class will wrap up with Yin or restorative postures helping to ease into stillness and meditation. All levels welcome, including students recovering from injury.

T'ai Chi 

Monday • 7:15pm-8:15pm with Connie Coffman

T'ai Chi, sometimes referred to as meditation in motion is a gentle internal style Chinese martial art practiced today primarily for its health benefits which include calming the mind while exercising the body. T'ai Chi class is held Monday evenings from 7:15pm - 8:15pm (10 week sessions). Beginners through advanced students are welcome. Classes include meditation, practice of the Yang form and gentle conditioning exercises.

Fee: $10 for trial class. 10 week session $150 minus $15/class that will be missed.

8-week Autumn Sculpt Series - Yamar Washington

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Time slots: 5:30 am- 6:30 am, 6:45am - 7:45am January 7th to February 22nd. Only 10 spots per time slot. No class MLK weekend.

Led by former college/professional athlete Yamar Washington, the 8 Week Autumn Sculpt Series is designed to kickstart (or reestablish) a healthy way of living. Get into a great workout routine, keep track of your food via a log, and decrease your stress and anxiety in a positive atmosphere. Hour long workouts are designed to sculpt, release fat, increase flexibility, gain strength, and improve both aerobic and anaerobic conditioning. Mats and dumbbells are required

Little Spark Music - Music Class for Parent & Baby (ages 3 weeks up to age 4)

Tuesdays 9:15am - 10:15am and 10.30am to 11.30am 

Little Spark Music is a Suzuki Early Childhood Music curriculum designed as the perfect preparation to instrumental study. Because Suzuki believed that music could be the vehicle through which character is developed, the early childhood music program strategically teaches children to "practice" becoming kind-hearted people in pursuit of developing lifelong musical expression. In addition to becoming musically competent, Suzuki early childhood students learn patience, taking turns, respect, listening, cooperation, focus, and diligence.

This class is taught by Megan Titensor, a trained Suzuki Cello and ECE Teacher. $200 (Infants under 6 months attend FREE)

SongBird Music Together

Tuesday • 4:00PM-4:45PM with Connie Coffman

Songbird Music Together classes are for infants - 5 year olds and their parents/grandparents/caregivers. Each 45 minute weekly class includes singing, rhyming, playing rhythm instruments and movement in a fun, non-performance environment. Fee for 10 weekly 45 minute classes, CD, code to download the music, Songbook, Musical Developmental Growth Chart and Introductory DVD is $225 which may be divided into two payments. Reduced fee available if needed.

Jessie’s Fit Club Dance Fitness

Class Description: JFC Dance Fitness is a high intensity dance class that combines explosive dance moves and boot camp inspired toning.  Led by Jessica Matsui & Talia Cotton, their class is a mixture of MixxedFit and CTY, 2 dance fitness programs that can be suited for any level of fitness.  Jessica provides the high intensity modifications & Talia provides great toning and a lower modification example on all dances. Our goal is to maximize your time with a fun cardio workout that makes 60 minutes fly by.

All Levels Yoga

Wednesdays from 5:45-6:45 No Classes Jan 27th to February 28th.

Join Emily for a strong flow practice. In this class we'll focus on movement, breath, de-stressing, and increasing strength. And, we'll have fun doing it! It is recommended that students have some familiarity with yoga and yogic breathing, but Emily is great with all levels of students so if you're called, come on down.

5Rhythms Movement

Wednesdays 7:30-9:00 pm

You are invited to drop in for this spiral dance ~ exactly as you are ~ in this moment. Developed by Gabrielle Roth and practiced around the world, the 5Rhythms® is a dynamic and catalytic movement method, which moves and transforms that which ails you and opens the possibility for new and imaginative ways of being. 

It is conscious dance, free form within a loosely held structure. No steps to learn, just a willingness to move and be moved. Set to music from all around the world, encompassing all genres and eras. It is fun, adventurous and compelling ~ a way to drop out and check in.
