How do I buy a ticket?  Tickets may be purchased in advance for $25 through brownpapertickets.com or at Urban Vines (3605 S McClellan) Day-of tickets will be sold for $30 at the Mount Baker Community Clubhouse (2811 Mt Rainier Dr. S) the starting point of the Tour.  Discount tickets are available for seniors age 65+.  Your “ticket” will be a wristband, which will be waiting for you at Registration starting at 10 am.  You must pick up your wristband before leaving for the Tour and present it to gain entry to the homes.

Do I need a separate ticket to the Arts & Crafts Fair?  The Arts & Crafts Fair held in the Clubhouse requires no ticket purchase; it is free and open to the public from 10 am – 4pm.

When does the Tour start?  Homes open and shuttle service begins at 10 am from the Mount Baker Clubhouse, with the last shuttle departing at 3:00 pm.  Shuttle service will leave the Clubhouse approximately every 20 minutes and follow a pre-ordered route.  Hop on at your convenience!  You may elect to skip certain destinations if you like, continuing with the driver to the next stop but the route will not change.

Can I walk instead?  Feel free to walk between destinations, especially if it’s sunny!  You are also welcome to drive your own car, but we request that you take care to not block driveways or encroach on parking strips.

Can I take breaks during the Tour?  Yes.  If you’d like to visit a few homes in the morning, go have lunch, then return to finish up, you may.  All you need to do is present your wristband to re-join the Tour at any one of its destinations.  

How many homes are on the Tour?  How much time do you have in each?  This year we have six private homes on the Tour, plus Franklin High School as our featured public space.  Because shuttles come and go about every 20 minutes, you may spend as much time as you like at any one stop.

What can I expect on a Home Tour?  At each home, docents are on hand to guide you, answer questions, and make sure the Tour experience is pleasant for all.   We respectfully ask that there be no food, drink, photography, or cell phone use inside the homes.  We will also ask you to remove your shoes before entering to minimize the impact of foot traffic.  Restrooms are available for use in the Clubhouse and Franklin High School but not in Tour homes.

Is the Tour wheel chair accessible?  The main floor of most homes on the Tour are wheelchair accessible, as is the Arts & Crafts Fair.  Please contact Tara Morgan at (206) 722-7209 in advance to see how we might accommodate mobility concerns.

What if it rains?  The Home Tour is a rain or shine event, so dress for the elements!
